I wanted a change of venue because Field 1 was slowing up & I had a hunch about the next door Dump Field holding some Hammered.
I had previously found 3 Lead weights that looked Medieval in the middle of the field. It's an area we have never done as our main focus has always been the Dump area at the end of the field.
Cru'dad did his usual 2.5 hrs & I did nearly 3 hours. There were a few finds that made me convinced we were in Hammered Country, as I call it, but the only silver was 17th C.

Pleased with the number of Recordables in a short hunt;

4 Scrappies
3 Lead Token
French Jetton
Neolithic Flint
Odd Gilt 18/19th C Strapend
2 Medieval Lead Spindle Whorls
Medieval Thimble
Tudor Clothes Fastener
Spec Buckle
Nice little Complete Medieval Buckle & Plate
Medieval Beast Head Mount
Mystery Tudor? Thingy (put in What Is It- https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/strange-tudor-thingy.693146/ ) UPDATED - 16th C Chafing Dish Handle
1696 Will III Sixpence (Love Token)

"Only" he writes! I've yet to find anything from the 1600s or older and am not likely to over here in the former colonies. Congratulations on your continuing great finds and productive sites.
