Hello all I am reposting this because i was told the title is unclear

This is a coin from Sunday's hunt
Bartek and I found an early site
It seems virgin , homesite fields
It had all the telltale signs concentrated iron patches
Well we pulled 12 coins that day
The newest being an Indian cent
I got a screamer at 6 inches
Bart was standing next to me I dug it flipped the plug
Out pops a white disk I'm thinking 1 real
Then I see the eagle !!!
I tel bart it's got an eagle on it I hand him the coin
He flips it and says ! Holy s#*t
Holy s";t it's a 1800 draped bust dime

I was stoked. Thanks for reading hh gl

Doesn't get better than that.
Congrats

Your previous title was perfectly clear to me.

That's a very rare find ! Nice going !! With clear pics I think its a Banner find !

Congrats, I would be super pleased with that find. Maybe its just the lighting of the photo, however, but I do have concerns about the coloring of the coin. Is it just me, or does something just not look right for a dug silver coin of that age? Could it be a contemporary counterfeit? I mean no disrespect at all because either way its a fantastic recovery. If authentic it definitely deserves banner status IMO.

Hey EastCoastHunter... how about some better pics when you get a chance.

Not only is that a rare coin, it looks to be in high grade as well. That is a banner coin all day every day.

Clear as mud....super coin, better pics would be even more super. Nice early US silver.

Charlie--what a great coin! Congrats. -Lisa & John

Sweet find Charlie, that is one rare coin, please post a better pic so I can vote banner.

The smile on your face tells the whole story. Congratulations on a very special recovery.

awesome bucket lister coin!

BEAUTIFUL FIND CONGRATS..

I posted and nominated banner on the original thread. The additional pics still don't do the coin justice, but there is no getting around the rarity and what looks like condition (outside of the lighting and blurring, which give the coin a corroded copper look). You're the man, Charlie...hope this doesn't slip through the fickle cracks of Tnet.

No disrespect taken. , I've seen a few that make me go hmm

Thank you Scott , all the details are there but I'm not cleaning it any more than it is.
I'll leave that to the pros. We will see how they grade it !!
