I went back to the same field that I found the shield nickel and seated dime in and hunted for seven hours. I was using my DFX with a 12" coil and it wore me out but I did manage to pull a few keepers. I got a 1916 Wheat cent, a 1903 Indian Head cent and an 1840 half dime. That makes the fourth half dime I have found in this field.
