Had a great weekend after securing permission to hunt a new and vast field with Neil.

Most of the field had just been plowed/cleared out and looked extremely promising for finds. Knowing the area where the field is located is hunted heavilly by others due to its colonial prominence, I was skeptical but hopeful that goodies were still available to be dug.

Dug a 1952 silver Rosie, a sterling spoon handle, a 1904 IH, a colonial "dome" button, a pewter button, a button with an Eagle backmark that says "BEST TREBLE PLATED", a few wheaties, a religious pendant, a skeleton key, buckles, horse tack, a hem weight, and more.

You have some nice keepers there.

you got some cool finds. sure beats sitting inside staring at the tv

Did you get some initials off the silver spoon handle? I would also like to see a closeup of the button backmark. Cool finds and nice site!

Excellent finds... New Jersey has been producing this summer!
