I wish they were made of gold:) I love finding these from the old mines in Cripple Creek. Mines had to keep track of how much ore individual miners moved. Sometimes miners would check in with these numbers, other times the carts were tagged. Recycling was an obvious neccecity with copper and brass moreso back then I believe. The watch inside piece was a surprise after tumbling some brass. The only one I've seen with a name says "PROPER" from the Proper mine! Its posted backwards because you can read it better. That 45 looks like it was made from a piece of a watch. Really cool
