This hexagonal cork-top bottle is for a product called Pepto-Mangan. It was 16% alcohol, resembled red wine in appearance, and promised "to provide a direct supply of minerals; to help build hemoglobin in the blood and stimulate the appetite". Invented by Dr August Gude in Leipzig Germany in 1890.
