civil war buttons

  1. Civil War Navy Button

Hello. I found this at a flea market and was wondering if it is authentic. If it is a reproduction, do I just get rid of it or do people collect repro. Civil War items? Thanks for any help you can offer!
  2. Anyone familar with button back marks recognize what this says

I found this button 2 years ago and have not been able to figure out what company it says. I only have figured out it says extra rich. Its driving me crazy
  3. I found them in the bottom of a can of nails I bought today

I know the one with the dent is from the Civil War anybody know anything about the others.
  4. Civil war button

Can anyone tell me exactly what kind of button this ...it's the size of an m&m (one of my favorite forms of chocolate)
  5. Solid Cast confederate I button! Great day.

Worked a permission that my dad has worked for several years. His words "probably not much left to be found there but we'll give it a try" LOL. It just goes to show that you can never be positive that every relic has been found.
  6. Civil War Buttons

Does anyone know if there are any Civil War buttons or post Civil War buttons WITHOUT back marks?
  7. Post Civil War Texas Button

I want to buy a Post Civil War Button for my husband's birthday from a relic dealer. There is no back mark on this button (front has a star and the word Texas). Has anyone heard about or seen this type of button with no back mark? I want to make sure it is authentic. Thank you!!!
