colonial button

  1. Is this a Colonial era Flat Button?

    Not sure exactly what date it is. Flip side is slightly concave with No Markings. Colonial settlers were in this region. It was near a stream, which I will be returning to to sweep over more territory. Thanks and Happy Hunting

  4. When is this button from?

    I found this button at a colonial site, and it does not look like any of the other buttons I found there. It appears to be made of pewter, and has a big thick shank. I would like to know when it is from, and other info would help too.
