garrett ace 150

Hi All, Been looking for an answer to this noob question in google for the last couple of days and all the answers are inconsistent. I know the main module of garrett 150 where the lcd screen is isn't waterproof, but is the coil part waterproof? Can I use it in shallow waters? thanks

These 2 seem very similar to me.help me out between these 2 fellow hunters. Please give the pros and cons or as well as own suggestions. Thanks
