headset adapter

I’m trying to troubleshoot an audio problem with my headset audio on my MDT 8000. It seems there’s a short somewhere either in the headsets or more likely on one side or the other or the 4 pin connecter or in the connector receiver on the Tarsacci head unit itself. I think it’s a M8 connector...
