I’m trying to troubleshoot an audio problem with my headset audio on my MDT 8000. It seems there’s a short somewhere either in the headsets or more likely on one side or the other or the 4 pin connecter or in the connector receiver on the Tarsacci head unit itself. I think it’s a M8 connector with four pins and I saw someone had a dongle with the an 8th inch connector that you could use any headsets that have an 1/8” bayonet. Does anybody know where I can buy? The Tarsacci guy won’t answer his phone or answer his emails so I don’t think I would ever buy one of these things again. Thanks for your time and any help advice would be greatly appreciated. Norman.

I had one of those and I thought it was just an 8th inch connector to a 1/4 inch jack. I did not have it for long. Good luck

Well Norm, that's what happens when you want to be stylish. That concerned me with that machine. Unfortunately with detector manufactures going out of business, buying a new or even a newer old machine is a catchers catch can opportunity and unfortunately uou get what you pay for, or the lack there of.
