meteor?

Could this be a meteorite? Just under 600g and is a little magnetic

As you can tell, they are attracted to the magnet. I cracked it open to see if it had any of the metal flakes inside etc. Can anyone help me out??

Slightly magnetic Feels heavy, but is less that 100 grams looks like iron but its stone.
