stone tool

  1. HELP! Found this today while digging near an old beach path. Could it be a stone tool?

I found this today and it's got me confused. As someone who digs a lot of holes often, I've never come across something like this before. Found on the north shore of eastern Long Island. I have practiced flint knapping in my free time and it seems to have a lot of similar characteristics to some...

Found this on the Santa Ynez trail, still getting familiar with natural erosion patterns. The depression gets wider on one end, which is where my doubt lies. Otherwise it’s pretty symmetrical. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  8. Stone arrowhead or scraper?

I’m hoping this is an arrowhead or scraper of some kind. One side is flat or even a little concave while the other is a more rounded and comes down to a sharp edge one one side. The other edge is flat. I found it by the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, Ga. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Found this in the same spot I found a nice in-tact Point last week. Private land minutes from some historical sites. Cave Creek, AZ area. It looks a bit like a hollow scraper, but I’m no expert. Both edges are still fairly sharp.

This has been in the family for a number of years and was found on a Saskatchewan farm. It has a small hole all the way through the center and is in a strange bell-type shape.
