Hello, goodwill again. I've found a handful of primitive pewter and wood forks, but today I got a coin silver spoon. Looks handmade with some sort of maker's mark. Probably wouldn't be able to attribute to anyone, but certainly looks like early 19th century. This is my third coin silver spoon from the thrift stores.

Looks to be an early one at that.

That's a nice early one. Can you get s better picture of the marks on the back. I collect coin silver and have some great resources for marks. Great find!!

Thank you, I've been looking online and it seems like it could be late 18th early 19th design. I don't know a whole lot about early stuff, living in Indiana, but it certainly looks like it's got the potential. Here's the best I have for photo of the marks, if you could make something of it I'd appreciate it.

Those marks are pretty worn and without seeing them up close with a loop I don't think I can identify it. It's definitely late 18th-early 19th century. What a great find.
