Wife and I rolled out to the beach this AM at sunup for a 2 hour hunt ... I was once again schooled ... Her in the Sand, me in the water ... She completely and utterly put da pimp smackin on me with her finds today...

I scored a little over a buck in clad with a .925 toe ring, a .925 hoop earring, and a .925 charm of some sort ... Felt frisky about that until she broke out:

$17.25 in clad ...
Not 1, not 2, but 3 watches - 2 of which work.
A Tiffany and co .925 earring
A Italian .925 necklace
A sterling silver & turquoise bracelet
A matched set of silver earrings
A 1942 Silver Quarter
2 1960 Greek drachma coins, 83% silver

... and assorted odds and ends.

OUCH!! She and her Bounty Hunter 505 mean treasure!

this is just a headsup... you'll probly want to double check that what you think is a Tiffany's is real... Cause China is making fake jewlery with serial # tag an bags an marked 925 when it is actually cheaply painted or plated silver by the shiploads.....

killer hunt with lots of killer finds!!!!!!!!!!!!! MR TUFF

You had incredible luck in hunting this morning DewGuru! :icon_thumright:
Love the bracelet and the "pearl drop" silver earrings! :notworthy:
By the way, you wouldn't happen to have the time would ya? :laughing9:

Looks like to place to hunt on that beach is the dry sand. A very good hunt for two hours. I think I would be spending the whole day there to really clean up.....Matt

Very nice finds. Wish I lived near a beach. Our first (my father and I ) detector 'Ace 250' should be here tomorrow according to UPS tracking. Can not wait to get out there and dig up some finds! nice pics and continued luck to you!

Neil

The Greek coin reads,

"Paul (Pavlos), King of Hellenes (Greeks)"

Awesome finds you two! :headbang:

Amazing 2 hr hunt. Most times it takes me months to amass that much stuff !! WTG

What area are you in?

Rockyredbaron

HH to all

Your items are the cleanest beach finds I've seen. I don't know where you were, but the salt/sand/surf here on the East coast is brutal, even on silver and gold. Very nice finds, congrats, Breezie

WOW - Lots of great treasure you two, BIGTIME CONGRATS!!!!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Sounds like your wife and mine went to the same MD school! All this week my wife has been cleaning up on the beaches here in Puerto Rico while I have only managed to find a little clad. Naturally she is taking full advantage of the bragging rights in our house!

Thanks for all the comments ... We hunt beaches in and around Tampa Florida ... Most all the finds are generally recent drops ... We concentrate on the busiest parts of the beaches and hunt the same areas almost on a daily basis and it continually replenishes that fast, it is amazing.

Rarely will I clean anything ... In this case, you'll see 2 1960 greek coins ... I cleaned one so I could tell what it was, left the other as found. The cleaned one was as black, if not blacker, than the other. Silver I find in the water typically needs a good brushing, as those are really tarnished items. Normally, finds just come out the bags and into the hot water rinse, laid on the towel and photographed as shown.
