I out today for a little over 4.5 hours. I made 2 swings and found this nice little spoon. at first I thought it was copper but it might just turn out to be silver. the reddish stuff was just a discoloration from something rusty by it. there is a mark on the back but it will need to be cleaned to read it. I found 2 more of the mystery metal blobs and the largest button ever plus a smaller one as well. another lead tube and 2 lbs of sinkers and finally a bird tag. it says ohio 1-3558 b. the shiny diamond looking pony tail tie was found at the gas station (eyeball find). the squigly lead thing I think is the tail to the elephant head found last year.

Becareful touching that spoon, it could have been used to cook illegal drugs on it... I believe the term for it is free basing....To clear this up before anyone takes this post the wrong way, I'm only informing wwwtimmcp of a possible danger.... did you check to see what kinda bird wore that tag yet?

I'm with creeper on that one, be careful with the spoon. A bent spoon is part of a heroin users "kit".

it doesn't look like the bowl was heated to mix the drugs and my mom says they used to do this to get a good hold on babies spoons so they couldn't grab them away from the mom. she said it was also easier for young kids to grasp . she was pretty tickled by this spoon to say the least. also the bowl is very small, I'm not sure how much of a bowl you'd need for a druggy but this is really a small spoon.
