Hi everyone,
Got out to enjoy this beautiful near 50 degree January weather today. I managed 1 silver find -- a 1907 D BBQ (SUPER WORN). It was slightly deeper than the length of my garret pointer so an honest 9 inches plus. It came in really broken audio wise and was weak. There was some rust on the coin, so I am guessing there was some nearby iron that helped break up the signal. IT came through as a 1-40 on the screen, but sounded more like it might be a deep quarter (though it was a really broken signal and faint). Only other notable find was a 1914 Wheat penny -- too bad the D was on the quarter and not the cent... Anyway cool as it was my first 2012 barber and first 2012 silver quarter... Up to 5 silver for the year now.
