We did 30 minutes trying a grass field & gave up with nothing. Then we remembered a small 1/2 acre of set-a-side land. A small triangle of previously ploughed land left to grass.
We got 2 medieval buckles & a medieval coin weight so we felt a hammered was close....
Thats it for now, Dad will be on holiday & we have run out of ideas.
