1 EYRIR

I stoped at an intown lot on my way home from work today. I hunted this site last fall and did well on modern silver, wheaties and I pulled a draped bust half cent out last fall as well. Today the only find with any age was an old oxen shoe . I did manage 9 more wheaties , 2 buff nickels . and a 46 Washinton . The surprise of the day was the 1953 1 EYRIR coin from Iceland. It is tiny. Can You imagine how easy it would be to lose these coins . Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic

Nice Finds MR!!! I see you dug a Great Seal button as well. I thought that you had found an "Error" coin. That shows how little I know about foreign coins. HH, Quindy.

So you thought I was phonetically challenged Don't feel bad Quindy , Once I ruled out a 3 cent piece. I thought I had a play coin Till I got home and saw a date . Then I had to google it ! M.R.

I am trying Dawg ! 6 days of work . 9 hrs on Sat. seems to have really effected my find rate I should get out some tomorrow ! MaineRelic
