Hello all, I got out again today and recovered 1 short of a six pack. We brave the rain and downpours but yet again were relentless in my pursuit of CW relics.I dug the .69 round ball 1st and then 4 sharps in an area about 20 ft square. The spider webs were not as bad today but the rain sucked. When I got back I was soaked all the way to my under wear but it was well worth it. When I tell you I was in the woods I meant it. I shoved that coil anywhere it would fit and would get in there like a rabbit.

Thanx for lookin, getty

Now THAT is devotion to the hobby.
It looks like a great site and you gotta know there's more stuff just waiting for someone to find it!
Might as well be you, right? Kudos for braving the elements.

Roger, I bet you felt like Tarzan in there. Those Sharps are a lot of fun to dig. How deep were your 5 bullets in that wilderness? HH, Quindy.

Quindy, the 1st one was a faint signal ended up being 6". The next one was a bear. great signal under a root, thhought it was a plate the way it kept ringing. I did NOT give up.Could not cut the root but dug under. At 10" I recovered the bullet. Did not pay attention after that. Just dug.

Some of my sites look like that. That's how I broke my lower shaft. Sometimes when I am thrusting my coil under some thorn bushes i am hoping I don't get a signal so I won't have to crawl in! Congrats on the bushy finds.

4 sharps and a round ball
Good diggin!

Thanx James, a day later I cleaned a small ball thinkin it to be modern buckshot. It turned white and appears to be .32 cal. pistol ball.So ...Technically I did make the six pack.
