Holly, Noah and I all met up today to do a little detecting after Noah got off work. We went to a park to just get out, and have fun. The type of hunt where you just turn on and go. Noah made an interesting find. A silver pendant, with a cross cut thunder egg stone. With a Tourmaline Crystal in the center. Pretty hippyish..but the tourmaline was really cool. And it is a silver find.
Also, in the video. I added an update on a find I made a couple weeks ago. At the time, I just figured it was just a medallion that had been gold plated. It was so dirty. I didn't clean it, so I could preserve what was left of the dull, fading gold plate. Well, today. I decided to replate it. And gave it a rinse. And said to myself. "I must be an idiot". It was silver!! And i thought back to when I found it. How it rang up so high on my Minelab. Had that nice silver tone, read really high upper right in conduct. And I never thought anything about it. I dunno why. Anyway. I included all that info in the video. As well as a flash back clip to June 2010. Where Holly dug a silver ring took 5 steps and dug a gold diamond ring right after the silver target.
I am also including a video I made. Of Historic Photos of my hometown. Eugene, Oregon. They really inspire me. And I wanted to share them. So, take a look at this as well.

Anyway. It was an interesting day.
Best of luck on your next hunt.

I love the medalion! If it was mine, I'd leave it as is. Loved the second video! Thanks for posting it.

Funny you say that. I was just looking at it. And thinking that. You can see who ever once owned it had rubbed at it. Maybe for luck? I wanna keep that on there. I am thinking about giving a baking soda rub to brighten it up though.
Still can't believe I dug this, and thought little of it. I was so focused on finding a silver coin that night. I just wrote down what it read, had it translated by a friend and ignored it because it was dirty. Need to go back over that spot in all metal and listen again. See if I can find the chain.
