10 degrees makes a world of difference!

90+ degrees for the last 50 days with high humidity has really put a crimp on my MD hobby. But yesterday was 80 with a ice breeze and I finally got out for about 6 hours. Didn't find much but got some sun and excersize.

One of the saving things considering the heat this Summer, is water hunting. Your Pioneer isn't water proof, so you can't do that. Two thirds of my hunting this Summer has been in the water. The other third where I was digging in the dirt, I tried to hit shady areas. Even that was tough, but when I went into the sun, it quickly reached the time when I had to go lay down in the shade. Us elderly folks suffer in the heat, where when we were young we'd be in it all day long.

Starting tomorrow we're projected to be 85 + for six straight days.

Now is the time to hit the coast and get in the water following the storms. I've a cousin who lives on the coast but he's in love now, and hasn't responded to my direct request for a visit

It was nice here today in SoCal but it has been a wall to wall hot summer for a long time. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather. Hope you guys get a break.
