100(possible) silver halves gone....sickening

After reading CnC's superb finds over his last 2 batches with 100s of silver halves, I was particularly excited about my 4 half boxes tomorrow, Thursday since I am in his state as well. A call to the bank found out that they didnt order for me at all.....

DAMN that blows.

More power to CnC I guss.

ps. I gave up nickels and dimes after 10 box o'skunks.

too bad about the half boxes but can't they still place an order for you for next time? Maybe you can still get lucky and get some boxes like Nick's.

too bad about the nickel and dime boxes too. I don't blame you for losing interest in those after a long skunk streak like that.

I stopped by one of my banks that I've had pretty good luck with customer halves lately and the teller said they HAD $53 in halves that they "got rid of" over the weekend. I just know I missed out on some silver with those. $53 is just the right amount too - not quite enough to be someone's dump (though it still could be) and enough to very likely have at least some silver out of the 106 coins. And I almost stopped by there on my way home from work on Friday but I guess I just wanted to get home from a long day at work so I just didn't bother to stop. That's what I get for being lazy with my CRHing.

But at least I did get lucky with those 2 rolls I scored earlier Friday morning (11 x 90%ers and 1 x 40%er) that as I posted previously I didn't even search until Monday. But I still can't help thinking about the ones that might have got away. I hate missing out on any good possible scores. I guess it is just the CRHer in me. I'm like a blood hound always on the search for customer halves.

banks will mess up orders until you become a regular, thats natural because they aren't used to ordering tons of halves
