Went on another hot and humid woods hunt yesterday.
Didn’t have any luck till my last few swings.
Found my first old silver coin spill.
1909,12 and 14 silver 5 cent coins.
Introduced in 1858-1922, as a small, thin sterling silver coin, that was colloquially known as a "fish scale," not a nickel and was based on the American half dime.
