$1000 in quarters = 1 silver + more!

Just got done with $1000 in quarters and found this bad boy! Only one silver but I did fill in a few missing spots in my Whitman folders so overall it was a good search!

Yeah you are absolutely right...1 silver quarter found out of 4,000 quarters searched = .025% silver. I would certainly say the odds were against me! It was nice to find about a dozen or so that I was missing for my Whitman folders so in the end not a bad day for me.

Good job, and pics! Quarters aren't that bad. My find rate for quarters is a little less than dimes, by silver volume. About 1 per $500 (quarters), about 3 dimes per $500.

Nice find !! I have never found a silver quarter out of $700 searched so i have given up. Maybe this will give me a little talk up to try again haha
