It was a very good weekend. 10 thrift stores in two days. It was windy and raining heavily so no yard sales. 11/25. Found one silver candy bowl, paid $2, it is 538 grams of milled and polished silver, wow. Picked up a nice pair of heavy silver cross earings, $3. 11/26, one milled and polished silver candle holder, christmas themed, 134 grams, $1. Also a 128 gram cast silver jewelry box, has a heavily damaged face, $1. Some small odds and ends silver. Total for me for the weekend, $810 in silver.
My friend who went with me got an old broken silver wall sconce, $1, not weighed. My guess is about 300 grams. He also picked up some odds and ends silver.
It was a good weekend. Of course when the family got back from the thanksgiving weekend my wife wanted the milled silver items and my daughter wanted the jewelry box. I had to remind them these were for investment purposes and to lay off them. Now that the mrs is back I should be able to get some pictures posted of these items.
Good hunting to everyone.
