116 yr old quarter on the ground!

I could not believe my eyes wen I found this barber!
My buddy Scott found a wheat in the washout and about twenty minuets later I was hunting the same area. I seen this baby sticking out of the dirt before my metal detector went over it.

It was kinda on edge so I was thinking it was plastic. Barely even a tone.

This is a scraped lot that I hunted a while back. Glad we reached hahaha!

The only problem you have now is you showed up your detector, so don't be surprised if you get a lot of trash talk from it for a while like "pull tab, bottle cap, iron!"

Yeah we find a fair amount of good stuff. There is local hunt club so new untouched spots are few and far between. Never hurts to recheck some of the hunted out places though.
