12/3 finds from old house

I forgot to take a pix of the old headlight rim..its from a car in the 50's or early 60's...but I did manage to find a neat solid pen knife, that was buried down a good 8 inches if not more. I am trying to clean that up, have it soaking in oil..and I do believe I found a hand forged nail too.

omg you mean IF I can get it cleaned... I have it soaking in oil..and one fellow told me hes got one soaking in oil for a year now.... holey cow...

bootybay, I used p.b.blaster penetrating oil on a small locking device I found just recently. it actually works now. I used blaster for years as a mechanic and it works just as well on relics. nice finds.

I will try that... as this babys rusted .. but only around the outter edges... boy it was deep and yes, it was buried a long time..would love to know what make or brand it is.... either way, am thrilled with the relics...thanks for the tip too
