Been talking up Mding to my 13 yr old grandson and he has helped me a small bit on local hunts but never seemed to take to it much.
Today, I decided to put the ear phones on him and after a short instruction period with the Garrett 1350, let him have at it in a location where an old house had been torn down. Within 10 mins he had a good hit and after digging came up with a 1945 wheat. That put a 100 watt smile on his face and made me think I will probably be buying detector for someone pretty soon I'll bet. Seems he didn't want to put mine down for a while after that. Hmmm.
