$140 in halves

found a bank in my town that the teller says she has about 1000 in halves in the vault. got 140 dollars today and only came up with a 1965. wonder if someone went through them already? also had a susan b anthony dollar mixed in the rolls.

I think they would be worth a try. Even if someone has gone thru them they might have missed the 40%ers. Sometimes they can fool you. The condition of the rolls can sometimes give you a hint; if they look like they have been rerolled a half dozen times, there is a good chance they've been picked over.

these look like they have been rolled only once. the wrappers are not worn

Thats a good sign. They still may have been gone thru but a good chance someone just emptied their piggy bank.
