Last week my son and I were down in Southeast Florida visiting family, and on Thursday the 6th we took a drive to Everglades National Park (off US Route 41) to bike the loop in the park there. Great place to check out if you have never been - tons of alligators and other wildlife. On the way back as we were driving toward Miami on Route 41, we were at a light, and there was a Wells Fargo on the corner, so I decided to make the right turn, and stop in to see what I could find. While I have been by there before (I have been to the park a number of times), I have never CRH there. I went in and asked for nickels and dimes ($80 in total) and then I asked for halves. For anyone that lives down in that area, it may be a good bank to CRH as the tellers don't save silver. I know that usually we don't get detailed as to where we find stuff, but given that I don't live there and will not be there again for a long time, if at all, someone may want to go check it out in the future.

The teller says I just got some (not sure if it was earlier that day or what), and asked if I wanted them all, and I said yes. She had $18 worth and what an $18 worth they turned out to be. $17.50 were silver ($12.50 90% and $5 40%) and there was a lone clad (1972D). She was happy to get rid of them, and I was more than happy to take them.

10 Walkers: 1936, 1941D, 1942 (x2), 1943, 1943D (x2), 1943S, 1945, 1946
10 Franklins: 1951, 1952D (x2), 1954, 1958D, 1960D, 1961, 1962, 1963 (x2)
5 1964 JFK
10 40%ers: 1965, 1967 (x7), 1968D, 1969D

The dimes and nickels were a skunk btw.
Thanks for looking and HH.

That is amazing...I really need to get back into crh....huge congratulations! You must've been gobsmacked.

Amazing... good intuition to stop there!

Thanks. It is just luck, plus I think that my odds increase because I live in, and search in, a densely populated urban area. This find was just west of Miami (Tamiami, I think was the neighborhood or town) - which is densely populated. Even where my family is in Southeast Florida (think between West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale), it is densely populated with a lot of banks, and therefore turnover of coins.
