15" WOT ordered

Just ordered the 15"WOT for my Safari, have always wondered if a bigger coil will uncover what others missed. Will be going back to the parks that I cleaned out last year and redo them with the ground thaws here in Wisconsin. Will keep you posted.....

Last year I used the stock coil and a 5" at these sights now we will see what a 15" brings.....

Yes I have one and it works great. I run it through my belt and not over my shoulders. It puts any weight on your belt. I can swing mine all day without any effort.

I have used several, there is one Sold by Kellyco for $24.95 and works well. I used it for about 7 years then made my own by buying a camelpac and attaching bungee to it via D-ring. Now I always have 2 liters of cold water with me as well as my harness....

Big coils can be a challenge to use in most urban parks due to the usual trash targets that seem to be everywhere. Now if you have cleaned out most of the trash, you might find some deeper targets that were missed by your other coils. I use the "Detecting Buddy" as my sling of choice. Inexpensive and works for me.

I totally agree with TH. You can make a great harness from a hydrapack and it does double duty...on feature you will come to appreciate if not love!

Received my harness today to go along with the 15" WOT. Now the snow and ground has to thaw here in Wisconsin.....
