Thanks Guys,
You are really appreciated.
Yes, it is turning into a treasure hunt in and of itself.
To be quite direct, (and with respect to other treasures and treasure hunters), the LUE treasure is the only one I have ever found actual evidence of in the field.
In great summary (a paragraph or less):
LUE Treasure: Map published in TH Manual #7 but from Spanish Trail of Gold. Spaniards mined and smelted gold (and some silver but not much.) They had multiple cache sites to store up the gold enough to justify a shipment back to Spain. (Too expensive to send a partially filled or empty ship back.) Indian uprisings and the Spanish loss to the French then US. They had to flee leaving many of the cache sites exposed. They were sealed and marked. However, the map existed before as a marker to the locations. The Spanish fled with intentions to return that never happened. Some of the cache sites have been found, some still unrecovered.
I just want the book as evidence of the map's existence prior to TH Manual #7. Some have accused the author of making it up including the reference to the book in Journals of El Dorado. The same was said about the book Scarlet Shadow referenced in Treasure of the Valley of Secrets. I found that book eventually as well.
Thanks again for the help.
