Ben: I think we've all been there, however you never know what the next box might bring . Don't give up, otherwise someone else will get that NEXT DREAM BOX, maybe yes, maybe no.

Keep at it....as they always say "nothing ventured, nothing gained"

That is true, My two scores this year (in boxes) were in January and February. I did get a good score in a bag about 2 weeks ago so I really shouldn't get discouraged but it is hard not to...

Perseverance is the name of the game, bro.

Last year I had to power through 70+ skunk boxes.

The universe ebbs and flows.

70+ puts it in perspective!

I am starting to look carefully at each coin for errors rather than just look for silver

I fought through 26 dud boxes and then a really nice score, just keep plugging away and the silver will finally find you!!

I found the 88 rotated die in a box of halves. They're out there!

You will be better served to look for varieties and errors. You have a unique opportunity of having access to a large volume of coin. Combine that with the fact that most hunters are uneducated about what varieties to look for means that the coins with the largest value are often dumped. It takes longer but it at least gives you some other tangible goal besides spying a silver rim.

By the way, you likely don't remember Silver Cop and his epic skunk streak. I would have to look it up, but he hunted 20 boxes a week. His streak lasted months.

I am currently on a 12 box skunk streek. That's not my worst of the year by far.
However, my last box with silver was (20) 90% & (2) 40%
You just never know.
Keep at it.
I'm still hoping to hit 1000 silver halves this year. I'm close

Broke my steak at 18 boxes, got a 1967 40%er, only one but...
