I am looking for 16 gold coins 1oz. each at a depth of 24 inchs in a glass jar now my garret with a 15 inch loop want pick them up and my tf900 discovery want pick them up i think they are to deep for the 15 inch loop and to small for the two box what do you think ? any suggestions. bildon

Try to find someone with a minelab in your area, those detectors go deep.

I have an ACE250 that I know for sure will go that deep on a beer can.

A 15" loop! If the glass has a tin top you should be able to hit that fairly easy. Dig everything, all metal mode.

Ditto! Could have put it better myself! Good luck to you!

Ditto, go slow tight sweep patterns, and all metal sensitive....dig wide and dig deep.

Where are you located? I live in West TX and have a Minelab 4000. I have found a piece of muleshoe 1" long at 2.5 feet with the 14' nugget finder eliptical coil. Be glad to help if you are close.

Thanks but i live in east louisiana and that is quite a distance but i got a couple of things i am going to try maybe that will work . bildon

Yep, waltzing all the way across TX does take time. Well good luck and stay safe.

Hey, a little off topic here but, how does your discovery tf900 work? good or bad?

Could be someone already found them.... ???

I agree all metal mode and work slow overlapping each sweep. Good luck and show us pics if you find them...Matt

a dfx with the 12" coil should be no problem I know the fisher 2 box will pick that up no problem and so should the garrett 2500 with eagle eye

Was any of these coins mention in #1 found yet?
