Hi All,
I'm fortunate to be in part of the US with lots of old ( very old ) ground. Hunted a new section of woods, and came across a deep signal ( about 8 inches), that sounded like an IHP. After hacking away a bunch of roots, I pulled out this beauty. I'm thinking that it's a 1690 William and Mary farthing, based on what I can see. For a change, the date is pretty plain. The coin weighed 9.0 grams, and was about 27-28 mm in diameter. I know that there are a lot of experts here on T-Net, so if someone would like to offer a different opinion, feel free. Thanks for taking a look. Scott.
