1600s spectacle buckle, coins and much more at colonial site

Finally got out the week of Thanksgiving and hit some very productive colonial sites over 2 days in Central Virginia . Very little trash and these were the highlights. Favorite being the 1600s spectacle buckle. Also nice to add a shield Nickel, half dime and what looks to be a carved lead game piece Look forward to getting back at it soon and see what other treasures await. There was a lot of colonial occupation at both sites.

I'd look at that half dime real well. There is a 1 over 0 version that's worth a lot more money.

That 1600s spectacle buckle is something you don't find everyday around here. Awesome find!

Yes! That's a nice early 17th century spur buckle. Always a great day when you're digging early colonial finds. The half-dime is a big bonus. I also see an early leather mount.
