We went back to the same field as last time, just digged by us.
This time we hit it hard, and tried another adjacent field, with a little bit of finds. It was a great day...
The town has a XII century PICOTA : "The stone columns are more or less ornamented, were used to sett out the prisoners, and the heads or the bodies of the executed by civil authority"

I found a lot of old coins, some in pretty good shape.
On nice medal, which I'm still researching.
Also the usual finds

Cheers and good digs to all

Nutria

Hello Nutria!
Thankfully, you chose the coin of Jaume II as one of your best pieces of today .... ;D
Certainly not it strange to find a Barcelona's Medieval coin in your area? :icon_scratch:

Yes very far away from home, and we also found from Navarra region, from Portugal (my last post). Must have been a trading area, or a travellers house!!
I dont think there is a lot left until they go with the roll over the fields!!

Cheers
