1700's home site

Found my first 3 cent piece along with several other old tickets, some unknown to me. This site dates revolutionary war times. Grandson was along and on the way out saw another cellar hole. Need to get back sometime. Any clue to what some of the things are fire away. Going to post some in the whatsit.

Bent iron piece in photo #3, right-hand side could be a rudimentary clevis hitch: a metal piece used to connect a wagon to a team of horses, or to a T-beam, or behind a tractor for pulling plows, trailers, etc. Usually has a metal pin held in place with a cotter pin.
