Found a couple of items and would like some help identifying them

My guess on this first one is part of a gas light? Maybe the burner but google image had nothing like it.

This second thing, I feel as I should know what it is as I think I have seen them before. guessing it is sandwiched between 2 pieces of leather with the pin sticking out to hook a strap on?

Lower pic is a lamps wick winder, I think..Cleaning of the flat face of it may show a name. Clean only if you want to ruin the patina.
The upper is the mouthpiece for an instrument. Like a trumpet ect.

The second pick looks like an old siding or roofing nail, I have pulled a few of those on a property a few months ago.

The nail looking thing is for hanging slate/asbestus siding and roofing. Tony
