I took a hike down to the 1700s tavern where i found 14 coppers last year,me, sniffy and heavymetalnut pounded this place last year i didnt think there were any signals left but we had a hard winter and i though maby the frost might bring 1 up.After about 1 hour of seaching i get a quarter signal about 10 inches down and out comes this 1788 Conn,Bust Left, way off center, the back is in better shape then the front but this is the first 1788 for me and the only signal i had.
Thanks Gary

Cool find, the tavern sites are always hot.

Just goes to show you never get em all. :icon_thumright:

Congrats on pulling another copper out of your site. Have you, or can you hunt the surrounding area? Are there lots of woods in the immediate area? Because woods are really hard to completely hunt out.
