Howdy All, My friend Owen and i went to a 15 acre corn field today that had a 1748 store/ inn somewhere on it. It became an 1100 acre plantation around 1836. We hit the high spots and found modern bullets, cans and canslaw and some iron farm machinery parts. On one rise i hit 4 pieces of lead and a chainlink? in about a 100 foot area. Small round ball is about 1/4 inch across and is irregular in shape. It is definately not as round as it looks in the pics. The nail was found in another part of the field. Any ideas on the lead pieces and link? Hope to get back again later this week. { Dime is to show size} Thanks Steve
