Got out to an old town field yesterday with a buddy. We did pretty good. We both got 4 coins each along with some other relics and buttons. It was an incredible day. My last hole right before we were about to leave I unearthed a silver plated 1783 nova constellatio. I'm thinking that they tried making a silver forgery to pass it off as one of the silver varieties. Glad I found it and thanks for looking.

that's awesome

Great day of hunting, congrats on the coppers and ring.
I don't think I've seen a silver plated one before posted up. (Not that there hasn't been )

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

A Nova of any type is a nice find. Yours is extra cool !

Unbelievably cool. The silver plating enhances the detail, which is incredible. I want one. You guys in the northeast just kill it.

Us southern girls haven't a prayer's chance in most soils down here. But, I want one just like yours. My favorite so far.

Congratulations on the silver plated NOVA CONSTELLATIO! :notworthy:
Yes, I think that plating did wonders to preserve the detail for you...
