Love these conn coppers! I was digging at a colonial foundation deep in the woods and was able to wrangle up a few great finds! The star button intrigued me a little, not sure if it’s military or civilian. It’s a one piece convex button with possibly markings on back that I can’t make out. Either way very cool! i get just as excited digging those old buttons as i do the coins. really sweet finds man. hit that place hard!!!

As worn as it is... that CT copper is looking pretty awesome! Congrats! That's the only state copper I've found and I've found 2. Love those coins! Amazing well documented history too if you read up on them.
