I dug this CT copper yesterday at a site along the Connecticut river in Vermont. Some folks on the Colonial and Early US coins and Artifacts FaceBook page attributed it as a Miller 33.21-Z.13, extremely rare, I've seen it listed as both R-5 and -6.

I'm pretty darn excited to have dug such a rare coin, anyone care to crush my dreams? :) Seems like everyone agrees on the attribution and that it's a 5+ rarity

Wow, that is a very cool state copper! Congrats on an awesome find! :icon_thumleft:

congrats and in good condition

I believe you have the correct variety. The pics are not straight on the coin which was throwing my mind into a different perspective. Took me an hour of back and forth. I like ID'ing Connecticuts but it's difficult. Just sold an R-6 on EBAY. R-7+ is what you really need for decent money. NICE FIND!!!!

Thanks, If it helps confirm I could post some more straight on pics.

Nice CT! I've dug several through the years but they've never had enough detail to allow for a convincing attribution. Congrats!
