I have been hunting an early 1800's military training site. The finds keep coming, but the condition they are in are rough. In the past I have found a number of War of 1812 LA 1 buttons and tons of mini bullets and musket balls. I found my first large cent today, which is soaking. I can see the head and the back, but no date. I also believe I have found a 1787 Mass Copper Cent. I am very excited, although the coppers may be worthless, the historical value of finding a Mass Copper is priceless being a Bostonian and loving our history. Most of the buttons I find are also worn to the point they are unidentifiable, but they still have great meaning because they were once worn by our honorable military. I plan to put all of them in a display case. Thanks for looking and this hobby rocks. ;D

Thank you all. So often we find coppers that are unidentifiable, I was excited I at least know what it is.
