1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent - Lettered Edge !!!!!

So I was detecting for about eight hours on saterday and hit about 5 spots. The first four spots which lasted about 7 and half hours produced nothing, untill I got to a local park and dug a 25c reading about 6 inches down and it turned out to be a 1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent worth upwards of $550 !!!!!

Finding a 1795 Half Cent is great, but a grounder will not be a money coin in most cases for that year, but better photos would sure help to see if it is a good one or so so..............

The year we all want to find in Half Cents is 1796! I know when I found my first 1795, I kept trying to see a 6 instead of that 5!!.

yes trails I agree esp. in those higher elevations I think your liberty cap needs another well lighted pic as well . It deserves more comments before your half cent goes to " seldom ever seen again " archive land 8) I like early half cents , found em' all except the elusive 1796 Lib Cap hc CMdawg
