I recently got permission for the field next to one of my better colonial sites. The site is right on a property line so I was hoping there would be more early finds over there. Unfortunately their were not but I did manage to find an indian and a merc while exploring the new field. Only second merc of year lol. Only found one good target back on the colonial site but it was yet another awesome little early buckle

Nice little haul you got there.

Very Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!

Nice score, good job. I've found that the mercs are getting harder to come by, we used to find them on almost every hunt. One more down...

Nice! That buckle is another oldie for your collection. Congrats!

Thanks. I find early sites in the fields and in the water but rarely find or hunt more modern sites. I havent hunted a yard in years and the schools and parks have long since dried up around here. Ive found more seated than mercs and rosies combined in recent years

Awsome hunt and great finds Toast!!! Congrats and thanks for sharing!!! "D"

Way to go t. However, I’m pretty sure it’s a rule that you aren’t allowed to find anything 20th century or later. Kindly return that Merc to the ground in a public setting for one of us amateur detectorists to find. Thank you.
