17th century knife (unique?)

I found this knife a vew month,s ago

the lemmet was almost gone ,so I let It been restored

this knife dated arround 1640 AD

there are found knifes that look like this one ,but they dont have the horse-shoe on the knifehandle

untill this day ,this one is the only one known

so at this time it is a unique knife

That's a really nice looking knife you got there. Here's a Flemish/Dutch one that dates to 1500. It has a pommel in the form of a horse hoof, but the scales are made of rootwood. Maybe yours is earlier than you think.

my knife is for sure arround 1640 (the context was pure)
