18 Hours hunting in the Dr, 2 Gold 100+ coins

Aloha all, I haven't posted in a long time but always enjoy seeing what everyone is finding. Its ammo to keep me going... Just came back from a few days in the Dominican Republic. Hunted a toatl of approx. 18 hours over 3 days...with a broken foot, how's that for commitment? Found well over 100 coins from US, DR, Russia, and others. 1 Stainless steel bracelt and 2 gold rings. 1 is a heavy 14K, the other is marked 375 aka 9K, oh well, I didn't throw it back and wait for it to grow up. Nice work!! I average about $1 /hr so all those coins in 18 hours plus gold is way better than I am doing.

What detector did you use?

Actually I took my tried & true, White's Surf P.I. Pro with 10" Spider coil put on it. It finds a lot of gold.

Nice. Looks like it works well in salt water. Maybe I'll replace the Sand Shark on my wanted list with the White's Surf PI.

I just looked up what is for sale. Is the Surfmaster PI Dual Field the same machine?

Yes, same machine. I've found hundreds of gold with this machine, ya have to dig the bad with the good though...IE: bobby pins, nails, bottle caps. But it goes deep to.

That CZ is a good machine also. Some reason I like PI's, guess I don't want to miss a target, even if it means digging a bit more trash.
